The District serves agricultural, residential, and commercial customers in the beautiful town of Valley Center, located northeast of Escondido in northern San Diego County. Approximately 24,000 people live within the District. The District covers 100 square miles of which approximately 59% receives water services.

Temporary Maintenance and Utility Worker I

The District is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Temporary Maintenance and Utility Worker I. Incumbents with basic maintenance experience learn and perform a variety of tasks involved in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of the District’s facilities, and a wide variety of practices and procedures such as grounds keeping, tree trimming, and janitorial work.
