The Valley Center Municipal Water District is dedicated to preventing sanitary sewer overflows and complying with the new Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements.

This Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) was prepared to document standards and procedures used to operate and maintain the District’s Wastewater Collection Facilities. The primary goal of the plan is to reduce, and possibly eliminate, the potential for sanitary sewer overflow events.  

The VCMWD Board of Directors Adopted Resolution No. 2022-28, on August 15, 2022 - approving the 2022 Update to the SSMP.
