The Valley Center Municipal Water District is dedicated to preventing sanitary sewer overflows and complying with the new Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements.
The Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) was prepared to document standards and procedures used to operate and maintain the District’s Wastewater Collection Facilities. The primary goal of the SSMP is to provide a plan and schedule to properly manage, operate and maintain all parts of the Districts sanitary sewer systems, reduce and prevent spills, and contain and mitigate spills that do occur.
