Valley Center Municipal Water District serves mostly agriculture in the beautiful town of Valley Center, which is located northeast of Escondido in North San Diego County. Approximately 24,000 people live within the District. The District covers 100 square miles of which approximately 59% receives water services. The District provides a highly desirable, comprehensive employee benefits package. Post-offer physical, drug screening, background investigation and acceptable proof of right to work is required. Incumbents are responsible for performing routine activities while acquiring knowledge, certifications, and skills to perform higher-level work to include: providing the full range of help desk duties, installing and configuring computers and software, and installing upgrades. Incumbents troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and peripherals and address software issues.
